With a re-release scheduled for May 30, Mahesh Babu's film "Khaleja" is creating a lot of hype on social media. According to "Khaleja" advance reservations, up to 62,000 seats were sold in the first day. According to the statistics, Khaleja's ticket sales broke the previous record set by "Ghilli" for South indian releases.
 
"Khaleja" is anticipated to have a record-breaking opening day for a re-released film in the nation due to the excitement and fervor among mahesh babu fans. 


"Sanam Teri Kasam," starring Harshavardan Rane, is currently the highest-grossing re-released movie in India.  Initially a box office failure, "Sanam Teri Kasam" later proved to be a success for the producers during its re-release run, earning an incredible Rs 33 crore in india and a staggering Rs 53 crore internationally. Ghilli came in third with Rs 27 crore, while Tumbbad came in second with Rs 38 crore.

In hyderabad alone, the pre-sales of "Khaleja" had brought in over Rs 1 crore.  According to industry analysts, the movie has broken all previous records in terms of pre-rerelease sales figures.  Nevertheless, the post-release figures will determine whether the movie will surpass previous marks.  In the meantime, moviegoers are eager to see it on the big screen and are hopeful that "Khaleja" will have a good repetition.
