Bengal: mamata targeted the Center over the pahalgam attack, said - the government failed to ensure security


West Bengal: West bengal Chief minister mamata banerjee targeted the central government over the pahalgam terror attack and said that the bjp government has completely failed in the security of the country. She praised the bravery of the soldiers but also alleged that the bjp wants to take political advantage of it.


West bengal Chief minister mamata banerjee on tuesday attacked the central government over the terrorist attack in pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. She said that the bharatiya janata party (BJP)-led central government has completely failed to provide security to the people of the countryso it has no right to remain in power.

Mamata Banerjee described this attack as the result of the Center's 'complete failure and negligence'. She raised the question of why were the security personnel not present there when the attack took place26 people, mostly tourists, lost their lives in this terrorist attack.


Chief minister mamata banerjee was speaking in the West bengal Assembly where a resolution was passed praising the bravery of the armed forces. Though the resolution did not mention any words like 'Operation Sindoor', it praised the military action.


Why were there no security forces or policemen at the place when the attack took place, she asked. mamata banerjee also said that india had a chance to take control of Pakistan-occupied kashmir (PoK) when a situation of military confrontation arose between india and Pakistan.

She said we do not support terrorism. terrorism has no religion, caste, or creed. She also demanded that whoever was behind the pahalgam attack should be punished. Mamata Banerjee again reiterated that the bjp (government) should resign as it has failed to protect the country. Praising the bravery of the army, she said, it was necessary to teach a lesson to the terrorists and we salute the bravery of our army.


She accused the bjp of trying to take political advantage of the army's bravery, especially in view of the elections. Targeting prime minister Narendra Modi, mamata banerjee said that PM Modi is only engaged in his branding and promotion, while his government has failed in fulfilling the responsibility of the country's security.
