Due to this, india is closely monitoring Trump's move. i.e., the Defense Acquisition Council (DAC) has approved the purchase of defense equipment worth ₹67,000 crore for the indian Army. According to the Ministry of Defense, approval has been given for the purchase of thermal imager-based night vision devices for BMP vehicles for the indian Army. This will improve the night driving capabilities of BMP vehicles and help in accurately repelling enemy attacks.
Similarly, the indian Navy has been approved for the acquisition of small autonomous surface ships, Brahmos fire control system and launchers, as well as the BARAK-1 point defense missile system. The acquisition of small autonomous surface ships will provide the Navy with the ability to detect and intercept threats in anti-submarine warfare operations. For the indian air Force, approval has been given for the upgrade of mountain radars and the Saksham/Spider weapon system. Mountain radars will enhance air surveillance capabilities in mountainous areas, both within and beyond the borders. The Ministry of Defense has said that by integrating the Saksham/Spider system with the Integrated air Control System, the air defense capability will be improved. The three services were also approved to purchase medium-altitude long-range remotely piloted aircraft. These aircraft can carry a variety of loads and weapons and operate over long distances. These will significantly enhance the 24-hour surveillance and combat capabilities of the armed forces.

In addition, the DAC has also approved the maintenance of C-17 and C-130J aircraft, and the comprehensive annual maintenance contract for the S-400 long-range air defense missile system. It is worth noting that this announcement was made at 03:10 this morning. It is said that there is a main reason why the Ministry of Defense issued this order. That is, the recent positions of the united states have become a threat to India. This threat, which started with the issue of taxes, has now reached the point of national security.
