Tamil Nadu chief minister and DMK President M.K. Stalin expressed strong confidence that the DMK-led alliance would secure a resounding victory by winning more than 200 constituencies in the upcoming elections. He made this assertion while addressing the public during Pongal festival celebrations, attended by party cadres, supporters, and local residents.
Speaking at the festive gathering, stalin said that the overwhelming support shown by the people towards the DMK government reflects their trust in its governance, welfare initiatives, and commitment to social justice. He stated that the government’s performance over the past years has laid a strong foundation for electoral success, driven by people-centric policies and transparent administration.
“The people of tamil Nadu have seen the difference. Our schemes in education, healthcare, women empowerment, and social welfare have reached every section of society. This confidence gives us the strength to say that we will cross 200 seats in the elections,” stalin declared amid loud applause from party workers.
The chief minister also highlighted the role of DMK cadres, praising their tireless efforts in connecting with the people at the grassroots level. He urged party members to continue their hard work, remain united, and convey the government’s achievements to every household across the state.
Referring to pongal as a festival that symbolizes prosperity, unity, and gratitude to farmers, stalin said the DMK government has always stood by the farming community through various support measures, including financial assistance, irrigation projects, and crop insurance schemes. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to safeguarding farmers’ interests and ensuring sustainable agricultural growth.
Concluding his address, stalin called upon the people to continue supporting the DMK for the progress and inclusive development of tamil Nadu. He expressed confidence that the forthcoming elections would mark another historic mandate in favor of the party and its vision for the state’s future.
