To Suit the needs of Indian Market it needed its own customization, an inspiring idea striked a young futuristic mind Konark Chikkupally pursuing his college education then.
After Completing B.Tech from Hyderabads JNTU University, Konark stint started with embedded & manufacturing Industry serving prestigious companies in Huwaei and Ericson. But serving other companies did not serve his purpose, his inclination and goal was to launch his own product that would minimize the much dependence of Consumers on Foreign products and add value to Customization.
Konark with the help of his Partner Kishore the Present CEO of Fission Labs, Hyderabad who aided him during the initial stages of establishing and launching his dream Company Volty Iot Solutions came handy and useful.
The Journey of Volty Iot Solutions which started in 2013 by Konark Chikupally CEO and founder had a smooth Sail and set a bench mark for its quality product.
Volty IoT Solutions is one of few companies in India and Sole in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, that designs, develops and manufactures Smart GPS Tracker or Advanced Tracker devices on its own that includes even Customization.
The Idea and Concept of the Company is to reduce the dependence on imported devices and replace it with Indianized device said Konark
A GPS Tracker is a device which collects information of a moving or fixed asset from satellite and transforms the data in real time. A Smart GPS Tracker professionally installed in vehicles, on cargo and container not only provides location but also shares engine diagnosis, speed of the vehicle, driver behavior and various other parameters.
Volty IoTSolutions are at present manufacturing 3000-5000 trackers a month supplying it to various B2B System integrators and OEM’s to Volkswagen, Ford, etc. says Konark.
Konarks biggest challenge he faced was from manufacturing eco-system.
It’s not a Software Industry accustomed to a Desktop in achieving a goal. There are a lot of hurdles amidst like finding the Right Resources and a Systematic Inventory Module to design a final output says Konark.
Konarks another daunting task was to convince customers about his High Range Quality product that matches the Market standards of Imported Products, and also an Investor who has a similar wave length.
The Company needed Capital to invest in Production and prove its capability, initially we started importing few accessories, but soon started production with our own suiting local Market, Courtesy “Make in India” initiative that helped the company partly solve the initial hurdles by getting an unsecured loan from a Bank without any Collateral and eventually attracted an investor stated CEO Konark.
When asked about his future revenue goal and turnover Konark Stated “We have two kinds of revenue model - Sale of the Product and Annual Maintenance Cost (AMC).
Currently we are getting an average of 5000+ orders for GPS Trackers every month, within a seized budget of INR 2000-4000 and plan to achieve 10000 orders per month in the coming months.
In a Concluding Statement Konark stated “My ambition to be No.1 GPS manufacturing company in India and looking forward to work on various products that solve different needs in the market, at present on verge of implementing IKidze an advanced School Management Software a digitized Edutech.
