Adani Enterprises can be included in BSE Sensex...

Today's trading session in the stock market was in the name of adani Group's stocks, in which a strong rise was seen. The biggest rise has been seen in the stock of the group's flagship company Adani Enterprises, which has closed at Rs 3387.30 with a jump of 7.84 percent, which is the highest closing price level of the stock in the last one year. It is believed that the stock of adani Enterprises can be included in the Sensex index of 30 leading stocks of BSE. Due to this, there has been a strong rise in the stock.

If adani Enterprises is included in BSE Sensex, then it will be the first company among the listed companies of adani Group to be included in Sensex. Both adani Enterprises and adani Ports & SEZ are included in the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange. There were speculations about the inclusion of adani Enterprises in the Sensex in 2023 itself, but it was put on hold after the revelations of the Hindenburg Research report against the adani Group.

IIFL Alternative Research said in its note that Adani Enterprises can be included in the Sensex instead of Wipro. The stocks to be removed from the BSE index will be reviewed on May 24, 2024. REC, jio Financial Services, adani Power, adani Green Energy, Adani Green Solutions can be included in BSE 100.

On december 21, 2022, the stock of adani Enterprises had made a high of Rs 4190. But after the disclosure of Hindenburg Research's report in january 2023, the stock of adani Enterprises started falling. During this period, the company had also withdrawn its FPO worth Rs 20,000 crore. On february 8, 2023, the stock fell to the level of Rs 1017. That means, in the next one and a half month from december 21, 2022, the stock declined by Rs 3173 or 75 percent. However, after that the stock recovered and closed at Rs 3387 with a rise of 7.84 percent or Rs 246 in today's session. The stock has increased by 233 percent in 15 months. And it is expected that after becoming a part of BSE Sensex, the stock may rise further.
