Waltair Veerayya is directed by bobby Kolli, known for his work on Power and jai Lava Kusa. He chose a story that combines mystery, comedy, and drama in equal measure for a mass audience. The opening of Waltair Veerayya sets out the main plot between police and the mob. At the same time, it brings attention to the film's main flaw. The screenplay's inconsistent tone and unevenness are immediately apparent. The meeting gets off to a serious start. 

After a normal block of mass heroism, there is a goofy comic segment featuring the hero. Even if they are all fine on their own, the story doesn't flow well. We are enjoying (or engaging with) the content when the proceedings are uncomfortable. The events on screen or the cause of the hero are never fully relatable. In terms of the issue, it is comparable to Chiranjeevi's nearly two-decade-old film jai Chiranjeeva.

The problem with the story and screenplay leads to the inconsistent portrayal, which is neither wholly heroic nor entirely humorous. As it stands, the intermission is one of the stronger sections of the film because it effectively appeals to popular heroism.
