Akhil Akkineni bagged a massive disaster with his debut film, Akhil - The Power of Jua . The movie which witnessed a massive pre-release business of 47 Crore could not even garner 20 Crore Share in its full run. The actor is taking so much of time for his second film. However the script selection is not happening easily.
Akhil worked with Vamshi Paidipali and Hanu Raghavapudi for about nine months but it is emerging that both the directors are now out of contention and Akhil is looking at other options like Vikram Kumar and Maruthi for his second. Akhil is very much disappointed with Nithin and feels Nithin betrayed him.
Nithin produced Akhil's debut movie, Akhil - The Power of Jua and Akhil feels Nithin's wrong guidance led him to a massive disaster. Further the script rejected by Akhil Akkineni with Hanu Raghavapudi has now reached Nithin's lap. Akhil feels that it is an insult to him as it is like Nithin rejecting Akhil's judgement.
Akhil is doing a little cameo in his cousin, Sushanth next film, Aatadukundham Ra. The shooting is going on in Annapurna Studios. Akhil will be seen in one of the songs in the film while Naga Chaitanya will be appearing in a little cameo. Akkineni brothers have finally got some craze to the film with their presence. The movie is being planned for August 19th release.
