Mollywood stylish actor Prithviraj, the young actor was rumored to be making a special appearance in the forthcoming Mammootty featuring “The Great Father” and as per the latest updates, Tamil actor Arya has replaced Prithviraj for the flick.
According to the sources, Prithviraj has backed out of the project due to his extremely busy schedule and the movie is jointly produced Prithviraj, Arya, Santhosh Sivan, and Shaji Nadesan, for August Cinema.
It is the third Mollywood outing of Arya, who has entered the industry with August Cinema's debut project Urumi. The movie features Mammootty and iconic child artist Baby Sara in the lead roles, is written and directed by newcomer Haneef Adeni. Sneha essays the female lead opposite Mammootty in the movie and reportedly, the movie which is said to be a family thriller, depicts the story of the deep bonding between a little girl and her protective father. The rest of the actor’s name will be revealed at the earliest.
The project is anticiapated to start rolling, immediately after Mammootty completes his current project “Peranbu”, which is directed by Ram. My Great Father is slated to hit the theatres as a Christmas special release.
