It has completed successful fifty years into film production by this 21st of May 2014. As aware, Movie Moghul and Guineas book record holder Dr Daggubati Ramanaidu has started this production house way back in the year 1964 with the film Ramudu Bheemudu starring Sr NT Rama Rao in a dual role.
So, this makes the superhit olden goldie flick “Ramudu Bheemudu” 50 years old now, still having an ever green viewership from the audiences, the film has NTR playing a dual role of complete contrast in nature. This film was directed by Tapi Chanakya and beautiful actresses Jamuna and L.Vijayalaxmi were paired opposite NTR in the two roles. This film was also a musical block buster and the songs are still alive in the hearts of music lovers.
Dr D Ramanaidu, a film passionate personality is been into film making hailing from Karamchedu from the year 1963 with the film Anuragam and has started the banner Suresh Productions with the film Ramudu Bheemudu. Ramanaidu regularly quotes that this film is like a seed for him as a producer and is grown into a tree with yet another successful film “Prem Nagar” starring late ANR. There was no look back for Ramanaidu from then on.
Till date Ramanaidu has produced about 130 films in different Indian languages like Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, oriya, Malayalam, Punjabi and also one film in English. It was his lifetime ambition to produce films in all the Indian languages. His entire family is been linked into Films and film making. His son Venkatesh and Rana are into acting while his elder son Suresh Babu is been continuing father’s legacy as a successful producer of Tollywood.
