Bollywood’s popular music composer shravan Rathod of Nadeem-Shravan duo died today because of Covid-19. He took his last breath in the mumbai hospital on Thursday. The 66-year-old composer was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition. His son, musician sanjeev Rathod confirmed the news to the media.

According to the report, he was quoted saying, "He passed away around 10:15 PM tonight. Please pray for his soul." shravan Rathod was rushed to Mumbai’s SL Raheja Hospital on monday after testing positive for a life threatening virus. Soon after this news came into light, celebs from the industry are mourning the death of the musician and also sending their condolence messages to him through social media.

Composer salim merchant posted a tweet that read, "Shravan bhai is no more. My respects and condolences to his family. Nadeem-Shravan have given us some of the biggest hits in the 90s. COVID-19 has taken so many lives. Don't know when will this end... Really saddened by this news."

Popular singer shreya ghoshal wrote, "Shocked to hear the news of shravan ji (of Nadeem Shravan) passing away. A genuine humble human being and one of the biggest composers of our music industry. Another huge loss in this pandemic. god give strength to the bereaved family. Rest in peace."

Many other celebs like Pritam, adnan sami, Jeet Gannguli took to twitter to send their condolences to the family of the deceased.
