Sri Thenandal Films is one of the prominent production houses in south India. For a long time, they have produced movies based on Gods, Animals, so on. Vijay's 'Mersal' was their 100th movie production and they produced it on a large scale. The movie featured Nithya Menen, kajal aggarwal, and samantha as the female leads and vijay did triple action for the first time.
AR rahman composed tunes and this movie was a huge money-spinner at the Box-Office. Despite the huge success, the production house was unable to produce another movie for a long time. In fact, the production house kept a muted response. Now, after a long hiatus, they are back with another gigantic venture. Thenandal Films CEO hema Rukmani has confirmed the same on her twitter page. She posted, "Exploring live-action with visual effects in our next, #Kapi, India's First Giant Super Hero."
Some of the
movie buffs have predicted that this
movie will be India's answer to Kong and this
movie will be India's first Giant Super
hero film. The
movie will be directed by Gokulraj Baskar and it has a story penned by
kaushik Karra and Ramasamy.
aravind Singh will be handling the camera. The
movie will release in
tamil,
telugu,
hindi, and
kannada languages.
