Allu arjun and VV Vinayaka together worked for a blockbuster movie titled Badrinath. Today the superhit movie completes 10 years and let us know some unknown facts about the film and actors that acted in it. The film was made in the backdrop of badrinath where bheeshma Narayan played by prakash raj is seen as the guru of allu arjun who trains him in martial arts.

Alakananda, played by Tamannaah, visits badrinath on the insistence of her grandfather to pay last tributes to her lost  parents. She who doesn't believe in god falls in love with badri and also starts believing in God. badri however has to step in as the protector of badrinath and he has to stay unmarried for it. How Alakananda convinces him and his guru forms the rest of the story

The movie was made on a huge budget of 42 crores and is one of the big budget movies in Tollywood. The movie was released in telugu and malayalam on 10th june in 1400 theaters. In 187 centers the movie ran for 50 days successfully. It is the movie that collected big at the box office in karnataka after magadheera movie. The movie grossed 7.75 crores on the very first day of its release.
