So, finally, as we have told earlier, the much anticipated Horror-Thriller of Nayanthara's movie 'Netrikann' will be getting a direct wallet PLATFORM' target='_blank' title='digital-Latest Updates, Photos, Videos are a click away, CLICK NOW'>digital release as the makers have signed a deal and the contract has moved to the OTT space. So, if the reports are to be trusted, the movie will be having a direct release in Telugu, Tamil, and malayalam languages on the Disney plus Hotstar OTT platform by the month of July 2021.


The makers never revealed the exact date, but it is confirmed that the theatrical release of 'Netrikann' is not possible right now as the situation doesn't seem to be in favor of the theater owners. Even though we can see a notable decrease in the fresh cases, the state and central government are not showing interest in large gatherings right now and this means the restart of theaters will not happen until august 2021 at least.


Also, even if the theaters get reopened the chances of finding a slot to release the movie on a maximum number of screens will be not a possible thing as several big projects are already in the queue for a long hiatus.
