The telangana government on thursday granted permission for a fifth showing of Pawan Kalyan's much-anticipated film Bhimla nayak, which is set to be released on Friday, to be screened in all theatres in the state for two weeks. In the evening, a GO to this effect was issued. Normally, the government would only provide authorization for a fifth showing of a major film for a week. However, for the first two weeks, Bhimla nayak received special permission to perform five shows.

The makers of Pawan Kalyan's film have received a rude jolt in andhra pradesh, which has rejected any extra screenings for the film in any of the state's theatres. The district officials met with theatre owners and warned them against airing a fifth performance. The ap government has also asked exhibitors to sell movie tickets solely at the old rates till the revised rates go into effect, as the GO on revised rates has not yet been issued. It has threatened to take legal action if the theatres charge greater prices for seats.

As a result, the producers would be able to offset the losses in andhra pradesh to a greater extent thanks to the authority to hold additional shows in telangana theatres for two weeks. Furthermore, because movie ticket costs in telangana are extremely expensive, it would assist the producers in recouping their losses. The telangana government has also been generous to the makers of Bheemla nayak, hosting a pre-release event for the film at the police Grounds in Yousufguda, Hyderabad.
