Following the success of The kashmir Files, filmmaker vivek Agnihottri and producer Abhishek Aggarwaal have paired up for The delhi Files, their second collaboration. vivek announced the new initiative on social media. "I'd like to express my gratitude to everyone who owned #TheKashmirFiles. We worked extremely hard for the past four years with the greatest honesty and sincerity. I apologise for spamming your TL, but it's critical to raise awareness about the GENOCIDE and injustice perpetrated against Kashmiri Hindus," wrote one user.

"It's time for me to start working on a new project, #The delhi Files," he continued. Though vivek did not reveal the plot of The delhi Files, it is believed that the film is about the 1984 Sikh riots in New Delhi. Following Indira Gandhi's assassination on october 31, 1984, there were widespread anti-Sikh riots across the country. In delhi, the temperature was extremely high. According to reports, 3000 Sikhs were slain in the delhi riots. It appears that vivek intends to uncover the dark secrets behind this heinous massacre.
