Kittridge's monologue at the beginning of the latest Mission: Impossible 7 trailer is particularly interesting. A higher-up declares that Ethan Hunt should retire from espionage, although it almost sounds as if Czerny's character is acting as an adversary rather than an ally. Of course, given that this is the first Mission: Impossible 7 trailer, it may be a massive misdirection, but it's one of the more intriguing aspects of the film.

The film is displayed in all of its globe-trotting splendour, in addition to Kittridge. Ethan and the IMF crew will once again be tested to their limits as they strive to preserve the world, from underwater explosions to horseback chases in the middle of a desert. The clip also shows Atwell's character, however it's unclear what her relationship to Cruise's character is. Finally, the teaser shows a peek of what could be Dead Recoking's ultimate villain (played by Esai Morales), but it's difficult to say what he's up to in such a fast-paced trailer.

With so many moving components (and as a sequel to the critically acclaimed Mission: Impossible - Fallout), Ethan Hunt's next adventure is sure to be exciting. The Mission: Impossible 7 trailer simply adds to the excitement, making the wait for Dead Reckoning Part 1's release in 2023 that much more agonising.
