Sudheer skipped the event and didn't even participate in any of the promotional interviews. He also neglected to update his social media accounts with any information regarding his film. Naturally, Sudheer's silence regarding his film has given rise to rumours that there is a problem between him and the creators of Saakini Daakini.
To put an end to these rumours, Sunitha Tati, one of the movie's producers, has stated that Sudheer was unable to attend the pre-release party because he was busy filming Ravanasura with ravi Teja. Sunitha added that Sudheer will complete Ravanasura by september 14 and begin promoting Saakini Daakini on september 15, one day before the movie's opening.
Sunitha's explanation doesn't seem to be very compelling, though. Usually, a filmmaker won't be so busy that he misses a promotion for his own movie, especially if it's taking place in the same location. Sudheer might have simply made a brief appearance at the occasion and discussed the movie. He apparently skipped the event because he was angry with the movie or its creators for whatever reason.
