Producer-director neeraj pandey, the creator of the web series 'Khakee: The bihar Chapter', intends to make a series on the stories of the police of every state of the country fighting against the dreaded criminals. He is starting it with a story inspired by the experiences of amit lodha, a police officer working in bihar, although he also says that this series is not a biopic of amit Lodha. In an exclusive video interview with amar Ujala, neeraj pandey was joined by the series lead actors karan Tacker and avinash Tiwari and series director Bhav Dhulia. neeraj pandey also wants to start a new chapter of horror films in the country and for this, he has also opened a new company.



Talking about the web series 'Khakee: The bihar Chapter', which is going to be released on Netflix on Friday, neeraj pandey says, 'This series is based on the functioning of bihar police but it is not a biopic of IPS officer amit lodha at all. When asked how close the series is to the well-known modus operandi of bihar, he says, “It will be known only after watching the series.” However, he says that his focus is not just on the bihar police and the country. The stories of the brave police officers of every state want to be seen through this series and that is why it has been named 'Khaki'. The tagline of the film will vary from state to state every season.



Ritesh Shah suggested the name Bhav Dhulia

Neeraj Pandey's fame has been in hindi cinema for creating stories of characters with thrill, mystery as well as character. neeraj pandey, who made his directorial debut with the film 'A Wednesday', has roped in Bhav Dhulia, who previously directed the series 'Rangbaaz' for ZEE5, to helm the web series 'Khakee: The bihar Chapter. He says, 'I had asked Ritesh Shah, a well-known writer of the film world, to suggest the name of a good director, so he took the name of Bhav. I just called him. We met and within two-three days Bhav started working on this series.
