Esha Gupta told the gown worn in Cannes was 'sexy but risky', said- 'I was in tension'

Recently, actress esha gupta in an interview talked about her 'Cannes debut look. Bollywood's beautiful actress esha gupta recently made her debut at the '76th Cannes Film Festival'. She walked the red carpet at the event as a specially curated designation led by Dr. L Murugan, minister of State in the 'Ministry of Information and Broadcasting'. He represented india and its culture in the indian pavilion along with 'Oscar-winning filmmaker Guneet Monga, former 'Miss World Manushi Chhillar, and manipuri actor Kangabam Tomba.

On her first day on the red carpet of the film festival, Isha was seen in a white thigh-high slit gown with a broad 3D floral patchwork on the front. Well, there is no doubt that Isha was looking very bold and sexy in this outfit. Now recently, the actress in an interview with 'News18' talked about fans' reactions to her look and outfit. 

Isha calls her white thigh-high slit gown 'risky'

Talking about her Cannes debut look, the 37-year-old actress says, “The response from people has been amazing. I didn't expect to be one of the best dressed. I had people from all over the world on my team, including my manager from LA (Los Angeles) and my stylist. He told me that I looked very good and my look was very beautiful.

Although Esha says that her outfit was quite risky, she gives credit to her stylist for carrying it off. She added, "It was a risk. When we were trying on this 'Nicolas Jebran gown, we knew it was 'sexy,' but we also wanted to make sure it was divine. If you look at the gown, so it's white and has 3D flowers on it. Its flowy look was giving it a dreamy look. I give all the credit to my stylist Victor Blanco." 

How was Esha Gupta's reaction to seeing her Cannes outfit for the first time?

Isha also recalled the time when she saw her outfit for the first time. She revealed that she wanted to see more options apart from this, to which the actress says, "He (Eisha's stylist Victor Blanco) was the person who saw it about two weeks before Cannes and he told me, ' Isha, this is the gown for you.' And when I saw it in the video, I told him 'That's cool, but we should see something else'."

However, Esha finalized this for her red carpet-look. Describing it as special, she said, “The amazing team I had, Charlotte Tilbury for my makeup and Dessange paris for my hair! The entire team came together and made sure it was my best look ever. He told me how to pose. To be honest, I think this is the best look I've ever seen on any red carpet.

Esha Gupta was tense before going on the red carpet

Esha also revealed that she was very tense before walking on the red carpet. She said, “Despite having my team and Victor by my side, I was very nervous. My stomach was upset. I was not just representing 'Esha Gupta', but since I went with the official delegation, I was representing indian cinema. In such a situation, I was very tense and was hoping that nothing should go wrong on the red carpet.

Esha Gupta was overjoyed when foreign paparazzi heard her name

Expressing her happiness when her name was called out by the foreign paparazzi, the actress said, "When I stepped on the red carpet, they started clicking me and the photographers didn't let me go. They knew my name and it was my favorite." It was the most amazing thing that happened together. When I started walking forward, they all called my name and called me back for more pictures." 

Esha, who has been making headlines for her stunning looks on the Cannes red carpet, further adds, “I would like to thank the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, NFDC, and FICCI for allowing me to showcase indian cinema on an international platform. Got an opportunity to represent. To be able to take india and myself out as part of the country is the biggest opportunity for me. This is something that I had dreamed of and I am very happy to have got this opportunity.
