Actress Gauthami has filed a sensational complaint with the police commissioner alleging that she has been defrauded of 25 crores of property and is threatening to kill her daughter. In that complaint, she stated that she has properties in a few areas in tamil Nadu, including Sriperumbudur, and due to her ill health, she has appointed Alagappan as a power agent to sell those properties. But Alagappan and his family have embezzled assets by using her signatures, and forged documents and found four types of frauds based on examination of her bank transactions, she said in the complaint. When asked about this, Gautami said that he threatened her with his political power and threatened to kill her daughter. She has also stated in the complaint that her daughter's studies have been affected due to this problem. In that petition, Gautami said that she should recover her property from Alagappan, who had stolen property worth around 25 crores, and take appropriate action against Alagappan, who was involved in these frauds.
