According to reports, the film was initially planned for a december release this year, but now it has been confirmed by the makers that the film will be out only next year. The makers have also unveiled a fresh poster with mohanlal in the Barroz outfit. They announced that the film will hit screens on march 28, 2024, coinciding with the start of the summer holidays.
The fantasy film is written by Jijo Punnoose, who is renowned for scripting the iconic My Dear Kuttichathan/Chhota Chetan. The film is based on one of his novels, which is titled Barroz: Guardian of D’Gama’s Treasure. Apart from mohanlal, the project also features Guru Somasundaram, Cesar Lorente Raton, Ignacio Mateos, and Kallirroi Tziafeta in important roles.
