He has asked members of his organization Vijay Makkal Ayakkam to work together with the government to help the people.

Dalpati Vijay wrote in his instagram post, 'From children to the elderly, everyone in chennai and its suburbs has been seriously affected due to Cyclone Michong. Reports show that thousands of people are suffering without drinking water, food, and other basic amenities. Many people on social media keep requesting help to rescue the people trapped in the flood. In such a situation, I request the members of the organization (Vijay Makkal Ayakkam) to work selflessly with the government to help the people.

There has been speculation for quite some time that Vijay is preparing to enter politics. Now people saw this post of his which came out recently as another indication of his political ambitions. Let us tell you that many tamil actors have come forward to help the people affected by the floods.
