Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari has allegedly returned to the sets of Pushpa: The Rule after being granted bail on accusations of aiding suicide. Jagadeesh's return to his part as Kesava, Pushpa's faithful helper, appears to be a watershed moment for the production, since filming dates were delayed and rescheduled during his absence.

While the bond allows Jagadeesh to continue working, there are ethical concerns about an actor's engagement in a film amid significant legal claims. The continued filming, which is presently centred on the Gangamma Jaathara sequence in Hyderabad, is supported by the production house, which allegedly assisted in Jagadeesh's release to assure the completion of sequences critical to the film's plot. However, the team has yet to issue a formal statement about the matter.

Jagadeesh's arrest stems from claims of threatening a lady with the publishing of private images, which eventually led to her sad actions. The police detained Jagadeesh on december 6 after receiving a complaint from the woman's relatives. According to reports, the dead woman worked in short films and was romantically involved with Jagadeesh.

The actor's return to the part of Kesava, who is vital to the plot, emphasises how important his presence is to the film's success.
