The year 2000 saw the release of Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai, a bollywood romantic musical that not only captivated audiences but also introduced the world to a brand new star—Hrithik Roshan.

Directed, produced, and written by rakesh roshan, the movie changed into the directorial powerhouse's bold undertaking and marked the performing debut of his son, Hrithik.

Long before its launch, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai had already turned out to be a subject of dialogue, in large part due to Hrithik's debut. Opposite him starred newcomer Ameesha Patel, whose overall performance also garnered praise. The film, which has been re-released these days to commemorate its twenty-fifth anniversary, is a testament to its enduring reputation.

Curiously, superstar Shah Rukh Khan reportedly became the original desire for the male lead. But Hrithik and the relaxation of the crew reportedly persuaded the director to recollect another person—probably a newcomer instead of an established Khan. The search ultimately circled back to Hrithik himself—a selection that might go on to shape bollywood history.

Upon launch, hrithik roshan was right away catapulted to stardom. Audiences hailed him as a "Greek God" for his hanging appearance and praised his incredible dancing abilities. The hook step from the song Ek Pal Ka Jeena has become iconic, later acknowledged as Hrithik's signature pass. A comparable hook step is also featured in the identity music of Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai, including in the film's memorable choreography.

To begin with, reviews cautioned that kareena kapoor would famous person, contrary to Hrithik. However, innovative differences between rakesh roshan and Kareena's mom, Babita Kapoor, led to her withdrawal from the venture. The function finally went to Ameesha Patel, who made a successful debut.

Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai went on to win a record-breaking variety of awards, earning 102 accolades such as Filmfare and IIFA awards, making it one of the most decorated films in indian cinema records.
