Even after the karnataka High Court's directive, kamal haasan has clearly said that he will not apologize. He has also claimed that the film 'Thug Life' will not be released in Karnataka.

Thug Life Controversy: Regarding the controversy over Tamil-Kannada language, South star kamal haasan has clearly said that he will not apologize. In such a situation, his film 'Thug Life' will not be released in Karnataka. Kamal Haasan's production company told the karnataka High court on tuesday that there is nothing to apologize for in this.

Kamal Haasan has issued a written statement in response to the karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce's (KFCC) demand for an apology. The actor has written in the statement - 'We do not need police protection at the moment because the film will not be released here. We will talk to the film chamber.'

'We are all one and from the same family'

Kamal Haasan said- 'The purpose of my words was only to tell that we are all one and from the same family and in no way to undermine Kannada. There is no dispute or debate on the rich heritage of the kannada language. Like Tamil, kannada too has a glorious literary and cultural tradition which I have been praising for a long time.'

Kamal Haasan said this for the kannada people

The actor further said- 'Throughout my career, I have cherished the warmth and affection given to me by the Kannada-speaking community, and I say with confidence that my love for the language is true, and I have great respect for the kannada people as their mother tongue. I have always been in favor of equal respect for all indian languages and am against the dominance of any one language over another, as such imbalance weakens the linguistic fabric of the Union of India.'

The 'Thug Life' actor wrote- I know and speak the language of cinema. cinema is a universal language that knows only bonds. My statement was also to establish that bond and unity among all of us.
