Manoj Bajpayee has shared a story on his instagram account today, Monday. In this, he wrote, 'These animals did not choose the streets, and they deserve mercy. people also have the right to feel safe, and the way forward should be empathy. Their fate should not be decided due to fear.' Seeing this message, the actor's stance on the matter seems neutral.
Before actor manoj bajpayee, many stars had commented opposing the decision of the supreme Court. This included actors like Ada Sharma, varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Raveena Tandon, and Tina Dutta.
In its order of august 11, the supreme court directed the authorities of Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and faridabad to ensure that all areas are free of stray dogs. The court also ordered that the captured animals should not be released back on the streets. Soon after this, animal lovers and rights groups started protests in many parts of India, including Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, tamil Nadu, and West Bengal, and urged the court to reconsider its order.
