On Wednesday, sooraj pancholi took to instagram to address the speculation and set the record straight.
Actor Denies Quitting the Film Industry
Sooraj Pancholi dismissed the rumors of his exit from Bollywood.
In his instagram story, he wrote:
“Some articles are saying I’ve quit films. Let me clarify, this is absolutely not true.”
The actor also criticized media outlets spreading false and negative stories about him.
His post carried the hashtag #HatersGonnaHate, indicating his frustration with ongoing rumors.
Pancholi has disabled comments on the post, possibly to avoid unnecessary negativity or trolling.
Sooraj Pancholi’s Controversial Past
Sooraj’s career was overshadowed by the 2013 death of actress Jiah Khan, his ex-girlfriend.
Jiah was found dead in her mumbai home, and her mother, Rabia Khan, accused Sooraj and his family of mistreating her.
A case of abetment to suicide under Section 306 of the IPC was filed against him.
The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) later took over the probe and filed a charge sheet in 2015.
After a long legal battle, sooraj pancholi was acquitted in 2023, as the court found no direct evidence linking him to the death.
Recent Work and Comeback
Following his acquittal, Sooraj returned to films with “Kesari Veer” (2025).
The movie, directed by prince Dhiman, depicted unsung warriors who defended the somnath Temple.
It starred sunil shetty alongside Sooraj Pancholi.
Produced by Kanubhai Chauhan under Chauhan Studios, the film received a lukewarm response and was a box office flop.
