The incident took place near the actor’s residence in Juhu.
An auto-rickshaw and the escort vehicle were involved, leaving two people injured.
Akshay Kumar was not present in the escort car at the time of the mishap.
Details of the Incident
The accident reportedly occurred between 8:00 pm and 8:30 pm.
Akshay Kumar and his wife, Twinkle Khanna, were returning from the airport to their Juhu home.
A Mercedes car was following the actor’s Innova escort vehicle.
The Mercedes allegedly rammed into the Innova from behind.
Due to the impact, the Innova hit an auto-rickshaw ahead of it.
The collision caused the auto-rickshaw to overturn and crash into the escort vehicle.
The force of the accident flipped Akshay Kumar’s security car onto its right side.
Injuries and On-Ground Situation
Two people were injured in the accident, including the auto-rickshaw driver.
A viral video from the scene shows the escort vehicle overturned on two wheels.
The front portion of the auto-rickshaw was badly damaged.
Police reached the spot soon after and controlled the situation.
The injured auto-rickshaw driver was rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Auto Driver’s Brother Demands Compensation
Mohammad sameer, brother of the injured auto driver, described the incident.
He claimed the Mercedes hit the Innova, which then crashed into the rickshaw.
According to him, the rickshaw overturned, trapping his brother and a passenger underneath.
He stated that the driver’s condition is very serious.
The family has demanded proper medical treatment and compensation for the damaged rickshaw.
“We don’t want anything else,” sameer said.
Police Update So Far
Juhu police has not registered an FIR yet.
Authorities confirmed that the injured driver is currently undergoing treatment.
Further investigation into the sequence of events is underway.
