Many are wondering whether T-TDP firebrand leader,its working president Revanth Reddy is out to decimate the party in the state. Revanth Reddy who shot to fame as Telangana Tiger for his relentless attack on CM KCR and his family members KTR,Kavitha and Harish Rao is now seeking a freehand in the party affairs in the state.
Inside talk is Revanth Reddy is planning to have an understanding with TDP's arch rival Congress in the upcoming elections in the state. Revanth Reddy and T-TDP virtually arrived at this decision as the BJP is all set to gohead to contest the polls without any alliance.
Revanth Reddy sought permission from party president Chandra Babu Naidu for the political freedom. Revanth Reddy said “I brought up the issue about the BJP toeing a different line in different states and asked him how was it possible. Mr Naidu then told me that when he broached this subject with BJP national president Amit Shah during their recent meeting in Delhi. Amit Shah said that TS BJP leaders do not want the alliance with the TD as the BJP, if it goes solo, may be able to fight for inter-state issues.”
Revanth Reddy added However, Mr Naidu told me that he will again speak to Amit Shah and then communicate his decision on my request,” On his consultations with PCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy,he added “If the BJP is not our ally, we have to take our own decisions to save not only the party but to save Telangana from KCR.”
If this happens, this will be the first time TDP will be having an alliance with Congress as TDP was found by NTR on anti congress plank.
