Senior Congress leader Dharmana Prasada Rao wants to join in YSRCP only after coming to conclusion that there is no future in Congress party. His joining is getting delayed for unknown reasons. His brother Krishna Das was announced that Dharmana may join December 07th first, later on December 22nd and lastly Dharmana thought after participating in discussion on Telangana bill. But Assembly sessions postponed to January.
As per current political scenario, Dharmana joining into YSRCP is uncertain. The delay cause more troubles to him. Opponents took chance to dig Dharmana’s comments against YS Jagan in the form of CD. As per Dharmana followers, that Dharmana can’t receive any assurance from YS Jagan on ticket. Some of the Senior YSRCP leaders like Kanithi Viswanatham, Appayya Dora have against Dharmana to enter into YSRCP. Dharmana sent signals to his followers on his departure from Congress and joins in YSRCP. Dharmana is in confusing situation and is in thinking how to convince party cadre and people.
Dharmana opponents are prepared on CD which contains all his statements against YS Jagan in various meetings. Earlier, he made statements against YS Jagan corruption at the time when YSR was Chief Minister. The CD consists of series of complaints on 28 issues against Dharmana. Some of the YSRCP leaders termed Dharmana Prasada Rao as “Congress Covert”. It is also observed that Krishna Das also fails to convince Jagan on Dharmana joining. Jagan announced V. Kalyani as YSRCP candidate for Dharmana representing Srikakulam Assembly segment.
