Government of India has promised many institutes to the Andhra Pradesh at the time of division of the state. Central institutes like NIT, IIT, Tribal University, Agriculture University, Metro rail and AIIMS will take their existence in AP. Polavaram and funds to the construction of Capital in the state are promised to AP. Some institutes are in preliminary stage for searching of lands in the state and for some land allotments have completed. Chief Minister CBN is paid more attention on completion of Polavaram and construction of the Capital to the some extent before he goes to 2019 general elections. He asked irrigation authorities to complete the Polavaram by 2018. As per the sources, it’s not possible to reach the target. CBN himself agreed that construction of the new capital might not possible to complete before 2019. But it is different in case of AIIMS. There is no land procurement like in case of Capital for AIIMS. Government declared 196 acres of government lands to AIIMS in Mangalagiri. A team of experts from Union Health Ministry cleared 196 acres of land for the construction of AIIMS. As per the sources, Union Health Minister JP Nadda laid foundation stone to 960 bed AIIMS in January’15. As per the Kamineni Srinivas within three years from the foundation date AIIMS will be completed. This will be the first project to complete than others in AP.
