Big news! parliament of pakistan dissolved, elections in 90 days

There has been a lot of political turmoil in Pakistan. The president has agreed to dismiss parliament. According to Pakistani media, President Arif Alvi has dissolved the National assembly on the instructions of prime minister Imran Khan.Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri has rejected a no-confidence motion against Pakistan's prime minister Imran Khan. Following the incident, imran khan had demanded the dissolution of Parliament.

 He had demanded the people to dissolve the parliament and hold fresh elections. imran khan was not present in parliament this time. However, he had said that he would write a letter to the President immediately. Now imran khan had hinted at a mid-term election.
"I urge the President to dismiss this cabinet and hold fresh elections," Khan had said. After that, the President has now accepted his demand and dismissed the Parliament. So now there are going to be mid-term elections.

After imran khan announced his recommendation of elections to President Arif Alvi, Pakistan's minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, Farooq Habib, tweeted that new elections would be held in 90 days. However, citing technical issues related to the current situation and regulations in pakistan, it is said that this too could take a long time and imran khan could lead the country till the new system is in place.
