In a statement released by Jayanagar Apollo Hospital, Bengaluru, "Former chief minister of karnataka Kumaraswamy was admitted to the hospital around 3:40 am due to ill health and discomfort. Dr. P. Satishchandra and his team are treating him. His condition was immediately evaluated and treated. His body is cooperating well with the treatment. His hemodynamics are normal. According to sources close to Kumaraswamy, Kumaraswamy was admitted to the hospital due to minor setbacks in his health including fever and fatigue. Once his condition improves, he will be discharged from the hospital, the sources said. Kumaraswamy, after recently returning from his foreign tour, has been actively involved in various activities including party work and public events. However, his condition worsened and he was admitted to the hospital early this morning. Kumaraswamy is being treated by a team of experienced doctors. Only his family members are allowed to visit him in the hospital. Visit of MLAs and Leaders is prohibited.
