He has contested twice from the state of West bengal on behalf of the bjp in the 2016 assembly elections and the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Chandrakumar Bose, who was appointed as West bengal bjp Vice President in 2016, was removed from the post in 2020. My proposals were ignored.” He also mentioned in his resignation letter. “When I joined the bjp, I was promised that I would be allowed to propagate the inclusive ideology of Netaji Subhash chandra bose and Sarath chandra bose (Netaji's elder brother - also a freedom fighter) across the country.
