When a few locals addressed Telangana's minister of labor and employment C malla reddy on thursday at the distribution of double-bedroom homes in the medchal Malkajgiri district and questioned him about the 'irregularities' in the allotment of the homes, he lost his cool. The minister presided over the distribution of 380 2BHK homes located in Bommarasipeta Gramme panchayat of Samirpet mandal.

A few residents urged that homes be given to genuine recipients during the distribution. When the distribution was deemed unfair, they vowed to stage a protest. A few individuals then entered the conference room, followed by tpcc spokesperson Singireddy Harshvardhan Reddy, who claimed that there had been anomalies in the housing allocation. They were requested to return by the minister.

The scenario infuriated the minister, who publicly attacked them as a result. The police eventually got involved and took control of the situation. Additionally, the congress leader was detained for attempting to escalate the demonstration. In a video, malla reddy can be heard yelling at the villagers when bungalows with two bedrooms are being distributed in the telangana district of medchal Malkajgiri. The situation required police assistance to retake control when the residents organised a demonstration against the minister.
