A nationwide bandh has been declared for today in karnataka due to the Cauvery River water crisis by pro-Kannada and agricultural organizations. Bengaluru will see a second strike after a bandh on Tuesday. Vatal Nagaraj, the leader of the pro-Kannada organization kannada Chaluvali, held steadfast in his demand for a state-wide Bandh on Friday. "The bandh will have universal backing. Our demonstration will be in front of the raj Bhavan. National thoroughfares and airports will be blocked. The bandh would be supported by buses, cabs, and automobiles, Nagaraj stated on monday during a news conference.

However, no bandh was permitted by Bengaluru police, and section 144 is expected to be implemented throughout the tech hub, prohibiting large gatherings. The delivery of Cauvery water to tamil Nadu is being protested by a number of karnataka organizations tomorrow, according to Bengaluru police, who have announced a state-wide bandh.

The supreme Court's decision prohibiting bandhs in all forms is emphasized by the commissioner of police for Bengaluru. Freedom Park is the only authorized place for demonstrations and rallies. Any organization, though, is free to do so voluntarily and without being coerced. The appropriate protesting organization will be responsible for the charges if there is any property damage.
