The bugle of rajasthan assembly elections has been saved. As the election date is approaching, the political heat
of both the major political parties of the state, congress and bjp, is also increasing. On the basis of its plans,
congress is claiming to form a repeat government in rajasthan, while on the other hand, bjp is also trying hard
to make a comeback. After a long effort, bjp has almost prepared the first list of candidates for 39 seats and
some names are being finalized to be included in the list. According to reports, after prime minister Narendra
Modi's visit to jodhpur on october 5, bjp may release the first list of candidates.
There is still doubt regarding the names of candidates on many seats in bjp, among them is Sardarpura assembly
seat of Rajasthan. This is considered to be the traditional seat of cm Ashok Gehlot. cm Ashok Gehlot has
reached rajasthan Assembly by winning elections from this seat four times. This time bjp does not want to let
him win the elections easily. This is the reason why bjp is planning to field Union minister Gajendra Singh
Shekhawat in the election battle from here. At present he is an mp from Jodhpur. In the 2018 Lok Sabha
elections, he defeated Vaibhav Gehlot, son of chief minister Ashok Gehlot.
Who will be the bjp candidate against cm Gehlot?
Last monday (October 2), Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat had said that the list of bjp candidates has
been prepared and soon the names of all the candidates will be announced. However, it is not yet clear who will
contest against cm Ashok Gehlot. Like Madhya Pradesh, in rajasthan too, bjp can field many MPs in the
assembly elections. It is believed that bjp can do a similar experiment in rajasthan also.
