Babar Azam has received so much kindness since landing in india that he is truly feeling "at home" in hyderabad, but he didn't fail to mention that pakistan cricket fans have been missed throughout their world cup preparations. The Babar-led Pakistani team, which has been headquartered in hyderabad and has already played two exhibition games there, will face new zealand on october 6 in the opening game of the tournament.

According to a recent PTI report, the pakistan cricket Board has written to the ICC to request swift action over the visa application process for its supporters and media. "I thought the welcome was quite good. We weren't anticipating this, but based on how people are reacting to our team, I believe everyone has loved it, Babar told the media at the ICC Captain's Day event in this location.

"Even though we have only been in hyderabad for a week, it seems like home even though we are not technically in India. We are having fun, and in my opinion, this is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to give it their all and take pleasure in the competition, remarked Babar. Babar stated that Pakistani supporters in the hyderabad throng would have been welcome. "Since we came to hyderabad, the hospitality we got, the way people welcomed us, from the airport to the hotel, the crowd in the ground, and in the last match, we liked it a lot," the man remarked.

"Having supporters from our team's side would have been preferable. In every game, in every stadium, we'll aim to garner such support, he declared. The Pakistani skipper asserted that his team's biggest asset continues to be its bowling, despite the absence of right-arm fast bowler Naseem Shah.

"Our strength, in my opinion, is bowling. But as everyone is aware, we have been playing together for the past three years. The majority of the lads are similar. I believe bowling is where we excel, he remarked. Babar stated that his team was eager to face india on october 14 at this venue, which is the biggest cricket arena in the world. Yes, he said, "We are extremely happy to be here for the first time.

"We have two matches left until the fourteenth match. We are attempting to play every game and concentrate on every day. Everyone is anticipating the india and pakistan encounter since it is a major match and usually exciting, Babar continued.

As teams want to exploit their players' expertise and awareness of the circumstances leading into the world cup, Pakistani players haven't played in the IPL in a long time. According to Babar, Pakistani players are not under any strain in this situation.

"I don't believe there is any pressure; the surroundings are comparable to those in Asia and Pakistan. We've had a week, and throughout that time we've played several practise matches and exhibition matches.
