In order to look for tax evasion and anomalies in I-T return files, officers from the income tax (I-T) department conducted raids on 14 chit fund and private agency locations on Thursday. All of the locations are said to belong to relatives and acquaintances of BRS mla Maganti Gopinath. According to sources, I-T teams were dispatched from Bengaluru and odisha after learning of possible anomalies, while CISF men were stationed to provide protection during the operations. 40 teams were sent to several locations, including Ameerpet, Yellareddyguda, Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, KPHB, and Shamshabad.

The homes of Somepalli naga Rajeswari, krishna Prasad Doppalapudi, and pooja lakshmi Doppalapudi, the company's directors, as well as the pooja krishna Chit Fund india Private Limited office in Ameerpet, were searched. I.T. officials believe the business avoided paying taxes by conducting business in cash. The Ameerpet office of jeevan Shakti Chit Fund Private Ltd. (JSCFPL) and the homes of the company's directors, Gutta Venkateswara Rao and Katragadda Ramesh, were searched by a different squad. Ramesh is active in a number of commercial ventures in the area.

According to sources, Hasini Distributors Private Limited and the two chit fund businesses were all registered at the same Yellareddyguda location. Indu Aranya and Fortune's locations in KPHB were raided, and papers and specific transactions of one Arikepudi Koteswara Rao were scrutinised.

Additionally, a man named Raghuram, who is connected to several chit funds and financing organisations, had a lavish home seized. According to sources, the officials were shocked at the size of the house and gathered records of recent bank accounts, business filings, and I-T returns.
