In an official statement, minister Allola Indrakaran stated that telangana chief minister K Chandrashekhar launched the expansive Breakfast programme in order to alleviate malnutrition, satisfy the hunger of the underprivileged children, and prevent pupils from skipping class. On Friday, he formally opened the chief minister K Chandrashekhar Rao breakfast programme at the Soan mandal centre in the nirmal district.

While serving the breakfast to the pupils, reddy looked over the food's quality. Then he ate breakfast with the students. He gave a description of the initiative's goal. He said that the innovative plan was put into place to feed pupils who were forced to miss class because they were hungry and to raise the attendance rate. Malnutrition among the students would be addressed.

Meanwhile, the event was organised in a school in Garmilla, mancherial town, and included mancherial mla Nadipelli Diwakar Rao and Additional collector Moti Lal. A similar celebration was held in a school in the Pochera hamlet of the Boath mandal of the adilabad district, and mla Jogu Ramanna and collector Rahul raj attended. K krishna Rao, vice-chairman of the Zilla Parishad, and deepak Tiwari, additional collector, launched the programme at a school in Kaghaznagar, Kumram bheem asifabad district.

According to statistics supplied by department of education officials, the telangana chief minister Breakfast programme would benefit around 1.70 lakh kids enrolled in 2,862 schools in the former adilabad district. The first phase of the groundbreaking programme will involve a total of 46,851 children in 675 schools in adilabad, 42,755 students in 735 schools in nirmal, 39,000 students in 714 schools in mancherial, and 41,999 students in 738 schools in the Kumram bheem asifabad area.
