Actor vinayakan from "Jailer" was detained by kerala police on tuesday for reportedly causing a disturbance at a police station while intoxicated. The actor was called by the police when he reportedly made some trouble at his flat, and he also caused a disturbance at the ernakulam Town North police station that evening.

According to a senior police officer, he was arrested for causing problems at the police station. The officer said, "He has been taken to a nearby hospital for the necessary medical examination."

Vinayakan had called the police station earlier in the day, at approximately 3:30 pm, to report an argument with his wife at their Stadium Link Road flat. It was said that money was the source of the argument. When the police arrived at the flat, vinayakan is said to have behaved inappropriately towards them. Following their listening to vinayakan and his spouse, the officers departed the scene. According to the authorities, vinayakan and his wife had fought frequently.

Vinayakan showed up at the police station on tuesday night, even though he was told to show up on Thursday. According to the authorities, vinayakan smoked at the station as well. He was found to be under the effect of alcohol during his post-arrest medical check at the ernakulam General Hospital. He has been accused by the police of causing disruption and interfering with the station's activities, which is a crime for which he is subject to bail.
