After partial improvement in the pollution situation in delhi, Environment minister Gopal Rai said that due to

change in the weather in the last 2-3 days, a decline in the pollution level is being recorded. In view of this,

CAQM has withdrawn the restrictions related to Grape 3. The Meteorological Department estimates that if the

wind speed decreases in the coming days, the pollution level may increase. Keeping this in mind, the rules of

Group-1 and Group-2 will still be applicable in Delhi. So that it does not go out of control again due to pollution.

According to Environment minister Gopal Rai, a joint meeting was held with the Environment Department and

DPCC in delhi Secretariat today to ensure strict implementation of Group 1 and 2 restrictions in Delhi. After the

meeting, he said that the Environment Department has issued orders to all concerned departments to prevent

pollution. Also, all the teams that were engaged, like anti dust campaign team, anti open burning campaign team,

PUC checking teams, have been asked to continue working with full alertness.

Order to continue strictness - Orders have been given to continue to strictly follow all the rules at hot spots.

Teams have been instructed to continuously monitor. There will be continuous monitoring and review by all

concerned agencies in Delhi. So that it can be ensured that the AQI level does not rise further into the serious

category. Instructions have been given to sprinkle water on the identified roads daily and use mechanical

sweeping machines continuously. Water is being sprayed from 215 mobile anti-smog guns. 60 mobile anti-smog

guns have been installed for the hotspot. 375 water sprinkling machines have been installed for water sprinkling.

82 Mechanical sweeping machines are working.
