Reportedly more than 300 beggars from Prayagraj and Kashi participated in the campaign to steal donations for the ayodhya ram temple Foundation. ayodhya is gearing up for the inauguration of the grand ram temple. Funding for the construction of ram temple in ayodhya has received huge support from devotees all over the world. Similarly, beggars from Kashi and Prayagraj have also donated for the construction of the temple. A group of beggars reportedly donated Rs 4.5 lakh. More than 300 beggars from Prayagraj and Kashi participated in a fund drive organized by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for the Sri ram mandir Theertha Foundation. They will also be invited to the Kumbabhishek ceremony as a token of appreciation for their contribution.
Meanwhile as per the latest count, the foundation was getting more than Rs 1 crore in donations every month. The ayodhya ram temple Trust has also started receiving donations from non-resident indians in its delhi bank account. To begin with, a devotee from the United Arab Emirates contributed Rs 11,000 and another from australia contributed Rs 21,000. Furthermore as of february this year, the foundation's three bank accounts in ayodhya had a balance of Rs 3,500 crore from donations from across the country, says sampath Rai, the foundation's general secretary. The budget for ram temple construction in ayodhya in 2024 has been fixed at Rs 18,000 crore. The construction project is being carried out by L&T at no cost.
Moreover many people from Khasi and Prayagraj regions participated in the campaign to collect donations for the temple. Uttar Pradesh deputy chief minister Keshav prasad Maurya recently visited the Sri ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra office located at Ramkot, Ayodhya. prime minister Modi is scheduled to visit ayodhya on december 30. During his visit, he will inaugurate the renovated ayodhya railway station and the new airport. He will also address a rally confirmed earlier by the authorities.
Earlier on august 5, 2020, prime minister Modi laid the foundation stone for the ayodhya ram Temple. On january 22, 2024, the Rama idol installation ceremony will take place in the temple. Earlier, prime minister Modi is scheduled to visit ayodhya on december 30. There he will inaugurate the renovated ayodhya railway station and the new airport. He also participates in a grand rally.
