PM Modi calls to "wipe out the Congress"...?

During a rally in Shivamogga, prime minister Narendra Modi unleashed a vicious attack on the karnataka government, led by the congress, charging them with causing the state's bankruptcy through widespread corruption. Modi demanded that karnataka voters ensure that the BJP-led nda won all 28 lok sabha seats and demanded that the congress party be exterminated from the state. He exposed power conflicts within the party and criticized congress leaders for their supposed ineptitude and dishonesty. Modi expressed optimism about winning big in the state and attributed BS Yediyurappa's efforts to the BJP's success in Karnataka. He underlined that in order to achieve comprehensive development, the bjp must win 400 seats across the country.

BY Raghavendra, the BJP's candidate from Shivamogga, is up against opposition from former minister Eshwarappa, who may run for office on his own, which could jeopardize the party's electoral strategy in the area.

The playing of a Hanuman bhajan during 'azaan' time allegedly led to a group of men attacking a merchant in Bengaluru. Following the incident, there was controversy as bjp leader R Ashoka accused the congress administration of playing politics of appeasement.

The police claim that a physical conflict broke out after the store played the bhajan loudly close to Siddanna Layout. The shopkeeper said that because he was playing the bhajan, the group had attacked and threatened him. Leaders of the bjp attacked the state administration, pointing to this episode as proof that, under congress control, law and order was deteriorating. They demanded that the offenders be held accountable and accused the administration of stoking anti-national forces. The episode brings to light the region's sensitivities over political divisiveness and religious customs.
