He had an altercation with media person vivek Singh when his car stopped near a traffic signal. Abhigyan and the boys present with him started beating Vivek. Seeing the journalist being beaten, Sonu Martin, the restaurant operator on the main road, came out with his wife and started saving him. It is alleged that Sonu Martin, who was trying to intervene, was beaten up by Abhigyan and his supporters. Sonu's head got injured in the fight.
