MLA harish rao once again wrote a scathing letter to telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy. He said that when the congress party came to power in telangana, they failed to fulfill the promises given to the farmers. It is mentioned that you have promised in the election manifesto that you will waive the loan of 2 lakh rupees all at once on december 9. He reminded that revanth reddy himself had called for the farmers who got a loan waiver of Rs. Believing Revanth's words, lakhs of farmers in the state took crop loans from banks. He said that the loan waiver did not happen as announced by you on december 9. It has been almost 4 months since you came to power. However, harish rao stated in his letter to cm revanth reddy that not even a single rupee of loan has been waived for a single farmer.
Harish said that even though it has been almost 4 months since congress came to power, not even a single farmer has received a single rupee loan waiver. Banks are giving notices upon notice to farmers. They expressed their concern that they have nothing to do with the government's guarantee and are pressuring them to pay the installments including interest for the loan taken. harish rao reminded that hundreds of farmers have received bank notices in joint warangal and joint medak districts. Farmers are very worried about this. Harish said that the interest on the loan is increasing and putting a heavy financial burden on the farmers.

Children of farmers are not able to get loans for education and other loans. harish rao said that the farmers are suffering from severe mental stress due to these problems. He reminded that the BRS party, which was in power for two terms under the leadership of KCR, waived off loans up to 2 lakh rupees at the rate of 1 lakh rupees twice. No single bank has ever pressured farmers to repay loans. The BRS government has given an advance assurance to the bankers that we will clear the loans of farmers up to one lakh rupees. Accordingly, payments were made to the banks from the government treasury. As a result, lakhs of farmers were able to get loan waivers without any hassle.
