Prakash Ambedkar doubts uddhav being involved in MVA...
There are two phases of voting left for the remaining seats of the lok sabha elections in Maharashtra. Former maharashtra cm and shiv sena (UBT) Chief uddhav thackeray is contesting the elections in alliance with Congress. He is part of Mahavikas Aghadi in maharashtra and india Alliance at the national level. Meanwhile, Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) Chief Prakash Ambedkar has challenged uddhav Thackeray.
Prakash Ambedkar challenged uddhav thackeray to give in writing that even after the results of the lok sabha elections in June, he will support congress and Mahavikas Aghadi. He conveyed the message that after the election results, uddhav Thackeray's loyalty will remain towards Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) in the state and 'India' block at the national level.
Along with this, he demanded a formal commitment from uddhav Thackeray's party that it would remain a part of Mahavikas Aghadi till the assembly elections to be held in Maharashtra. Pointing to the 'sourness' in the MVA, he asked why uddhav thackeray cannot give this assurance to the voters in writing. Prakash Ambedkar said that everything should be made clear to the public, otherwise it would have no meaning.
Let us tell you that before the lok sabha elections, the effort to include Prakash Ambedkar in the india alliance went on for a long time. But this could not happen. He announced that he would not be a part of this alliance. He even shared the stage with rahul gandhi but things did not work out later.
Prakash Ambedkar's party is contesting on 45 out of total 48 lok sabha seats in Maharashtra. He is not a part of the india alliance but had announced his support to sharad pawar on Baramati seat. Sharad Pawar's daughter supriya sule is the mp from this seat and her competition is with sister-in-law Sunetra Pawar. Sunetra Pawar is the wife of maharashtra Deputy cm Ajit Pawar.
