AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj attacks BJP!
Aam Aadmi Party's delhi State Convenor Saurabh Bhardwaj has targeted BJP's rekha Gupta government. He has accused bjp of not fulfilling its promise of 'Jahan jhuggy wahin pucca makaan'. Saurabh Bhardwaj said, "During delhi elections, bjp gave a guarantee card to the people living in slums of delhi on which the guarantee is written, which prime minister Narendra Modi says in his speeches, that Jahan jhuggy wahin makaan, but bjp is giving houses many kilometers away from the slum."
Citing an example, Saurabh Bhardwaj said, "A similar guarantee card was distributed by bjp people in Madrasi Camp slum area of Jangpura, on which PM Modi's guarantee is written on one side and the name of the card holder is written on the other side. Around 500 families live in this Madrasi Camp." He further said, "It has not even been two months since the bjp government came to power in delhi, bjp has started showing its true colours. DDA, which comes under the central government, has given a notice to the people living in this Madrasi camp, in which it is written that the families living in this camp will be given houses in Bawana in exchange for the slums." Saurabh Bhardwaj told that the people living in the slums have been living here for the last 40-50 years."
people of the camp work as labourers in the nearby areas
Saurabh Bhardwaj told, "When we talked to the people living in this camp, they told us that many of them work as servants and maids in the houses of the nearby area, one person told that he works as a labourer for a contractor nearby, another person told that he sets up an Idli Dosa shop nearby, almost all of these people do such labour work in the nearby areas."
