After winning the MCD mayor election, bjp leader raja Iqbal Singh said, "I want to thank prime minister Narendra Modi, bjp National President JP Nadda, Union home minister amit shah, delhi bjp chief Virendra Sachdeva and other party leaders." He further said, "I assure you that I will work together with the ruling party, opposition and Congress. Decisions will be taken without any discrimination for the development of Delhi."
'Cleanliness of delhi is the main goal'
After winning the election, Delhi's new mayor raja Iqbal Singh said, "My main goal will be to improve the cleanliness system of delhi, remove the mountains of garbage, solve the problem of waterlogging and provide all the basic and necessary facilities to the people of Delhi. We all will work together with full dedication and hard work."
